We see a lot of guests during the year, sometimes a single room could have a different family every night in a week. The scent of marijuana is incredibly strong, as are cigarettes, and vape pens. These scents stick to the sheets and carpet and can make the room unrentable.
This is why we don’t allow guests to smoke in or near the rooms, but rather near our firepit. It is far enough away where even the most pungent of strains won’t reach the building and stick to it.
If a pungent smell is left in the room, the guest who left it can be charged up to $250 depending on the number of days the room needs to be taken out of service and chemicals to remove the smell.
It is understandable to want to enjoy yourself, but we have to keep in mind the people after you. Small adjustments, such as where you smoke, can have a big impact on the quality of our rooms that all of our guests can enjoy.
So live it up and enjoy what makes you happy here as long as you are doing so with care and respect, we won’t stop you. If you are a user, consider edibles when traveling, safe to use, and typically don’t leave a lingering odor.
