General: Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license and credit card to rent a room. A valid credit card is required to reserve and rent a room, even if you pay in cash.
Payment: The card provided to us to book the reservation will be charged one (1) day before arrival for 100% of the reservation total. If the credit card declines, we will make 1 attempt to collect new payment information. If obtaining new payment information is unsuccessful, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Sorry, no refunds will be given for early departures.
Debit Card Users: Please be aware that if you have given us a debit card for payment, Waterway Inn has the right to authorize a charge of $150.00 for incidentals, in addition to the full amount of your stay. Upon check-out, if the guest agreement was followed, the authorization amount of $150.00 will be released back to your card. Depending on your banking institution, this release may take 5 to 7 business days per the financial institution's policies. Waterway Inn is not responsible for overdraft fees associated with your debit card
Taxes & fees: A sales tax of 6% and lodging tax of 5% will be applied to the room total.
Maximum Guests per Room: Each room type has a maximum number of guests allowed as stated in the room descriptions online. If the number of guests exceeds the allowed limit, an additional room(s) must be rented. If management becomes aware that the maximum has been exceeded, a $25.00 fee will be assessed.
Pets: Our Standard King room and dog-friendly 2 bedroom mobile home allows dog companions for a daily fee of $20.00. Other rooms and mobile homes are not pet-friendly. Bringing pets into a room or mobile home that is not pet-friendly will result in a $250 fee per day. Pets are prohibited from being left in vehicles or on the property if not registered to the dog-friendly mobile home.
Tobacco Products: All of our rooms and mobile homes are smoke-free. If smoking of cigarettes occurs inside the mobile homes or rooms, a $250 violation fee will be charged to the card on file.
Marijuana: We do not allow marijuana inside our rooms or mobile homes. Violation of this policy will result in a $250.00 fee charged to the card on file.
Cancellation: There is no cancellation fee if you cancel at least 2 days before the arrival date. If cancellation is less than 2 days before the arrival date, we reserve the right to charge a $20.00 cancellation fee plus 50% of the first night to the card we have on file.
Group bookings cancellation (Group Booking Discount): If notice is given (14) fourteen days before the arrival date, a $20.00 cancellation fee will be charged. If cancellation is less than (14) fourteen days before the arrival date, a charge equal to 25% of the reservation total may be charged to the credit card used to hold reservations, along with a $20.00 cancellation fee.
Refunds: In the case of a refund, funds may not be released to your account for up to 5-7 days or at the discretion of your financial institution. Waterway Inn is not responsible for the loss of use of these funds or any possible overdraft charges.
No shows: If a guest fails to cancel and does not show up for the reservation, a charge equal to 100% of the first night of the reservation may be charged to the credit card used to hold reservations.
Room Damage/Missing Items/Excessive Cleaning/Disturbances: If rooms or the property are damaged or left extremely dirty during a stay, you will be charged the amount it costs to replace the damaged item(s) plus $50 per hour labor fees to return the room to its original state. This includes missing/damaged remotes, bedding, towels, windows, TVs, window screens, appliances, fixtures, furniture, doors, lights, mirrors, etc. You agree to pay for necessary guest compensation in the event your actions create a disturbance to other guests.
